Accessibility statement

Last updated: 3 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use this website without particular difficulty and, as a rule, without help from others. Warpbeam is not a public sector body and is not required to publish this statement. We publish it voluntarily and follow the model that the German Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) sets out for public sector bodies.

Scope

This statement applies to the website warpbeam.de in German and English, with all its pages, the contact form, the “Request a demo” form and the videos on the home page and the page “Why Warpbeam?”.

It does not apply to the Warpbeam product interface. How we approach accessibility there and where we stand is described on the page Accessibility. Nor does it apply to the internal administration area of the operator or to external sites we link to, such as the communities on Discord and WhatsApp.

Compliance status

The benchmark is the requirements of BITV 2.0 and the harmonised standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which for websites means the success criteria of WCAG 2.1 at levels A and AA. In addition, we checked the new criteria of WCAG 2.2 at level AA.

This website is partially compliant with these requirements. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible. According to our audit, the website meets the additional WCAG 2.2 criteria.

Non-accessible content

Labels in two drawings with increased text spacing

The drawing of the warp beam on the page “Why Warpbeam?” and the drawing of the deployment forms on the page “Architecture” contain labels as text inside the graphic. If you substantially increase letter, word and line spacing with your own settings, some of these labels are cut off or overlap (EN 301 549, 9.1.4.12 Text spacing).

Reason: the labels sit at fixed positions in the drawing and do not wrap. Alternative: what the drawings show is also given on both pages as ordinary text that adapts; the warp beam drawing additionally has a description for screen readers. We intend to change the drawings so that their labels stay fully readable with increased text spacing.

Not conclusively tested

We assessed use with screen readers only through the technical markup. The website has not been tested with screen readers by specialists. There may therefore be barriers we have not yet identified.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 3 October 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: we audited the website internally on the same day, without an external testing body. We tested all pages in both languages in the version published together with this statement, in a current browser on Linux:

  • automatically with axe against the rules of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 (levels A and AA), in the light and dark theme, on narrow and wide screens,
  • entirely by keyboard: skip link, menu and collapsed menu, language switch, theme switch, both forms including their error messages, videos and animations,
  • with targeted checks: zoom to 200 and 400 percent, reflow at 320 pixels width, text spacing, contrast of text, controls and focus indicator, target size, obscured focus, reduced motion, language of pages and passages, page titles, headings, landmarks, link purpose and text alternatives.

We fixed the defects the audit found before publishing this statement, except for the content listed above. We review this statement whenever the website changes substantially, and at least once a year.

Conciliation procedure

The conciliation procedure under section 16 of the German Disability Equality Act (BGG) is available for disputes with federal public sector bodies and, under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act, for certain products and services for consumers. Warpbeam is not a public sector body, and no contracts with consumers are concluded through this website. In our assessment, a conciliation procedure is therefore not provided for this website. If you encounter a barrier, please contact us directly.
