One keyword is enough, such as “directory”, “licence” or “AI”.
We have no answer to that yet. Feel free to ask us through the contact form.

Operation and technology
How Warpbeam runs on your side.
- How is Warpbeam run?
- As a Linux server in containers: small on one machine, highly available in a cluster, or as a service from Germany.Architecture
- Will there be a cloud service?
- A service with a hosting provider in Germany is planned, with a tenant of its own for every organisation.Architecture
- Does Warpbeam need my existing directory?
- No. Warpbeam also runs without an existing directory; if you have one, Warpbeam connects to it. The goal is for Warpbeam to replace an existing directory entirely, with a guided way there and back.Identity sovereignty
- Do I need Windows servers?
- The server runs on Linux. Windows is only needed for the small agent on your side, for example on the domain controllers.Architecture
- Do I have to open any ports?
- Not for the agents: every agent connects on its own, outbound only and with mTLS, to the server on port 8443. Your firewall has to allow that path. If you run the server yourself, it accepts browsers on 443 and agents on 8443.Architecture
- Which applications can be connected?
- Warpbeam is meant to connect them through open standards such as SCIM, LDAP, SAML and OIDC. The full list is on the integrations page.Integrations
- Do I need any additional products?
- No. Warpbeam is meant to do every task itself. Existing systems such as a SIEM or a ticketing system can be connected as well.Principles
- Can I move away from my existing directory?
- An exit assistant is meant to guide you step by step, with a way back. For mailboxes and files, a migration tool is meant to be offered as a service.Identity sovereignty
Security and privacy
Where your data stays.
- Where is my data kept?
- When you run Warpbeam yourself, with you; with the service, at a hosting provider in Germany.Architecture
- Who can access my data?
- When you run Warpbeam yourself, only you. With the service, we access your data only with your approval, time-limited and recorded.Architecture
- How are keys protected?
- Ideally in your hardware security module, connected through PKCS#11; otherwise in the built-in key store.Architecture
- Will Warpbeam be checked independently?
- Yes. An external review and a certification are planned.
- Is Warpbeam accessible?
- We develop Warpbeam to be accessible from the start. We will only declare conformance once an audit confirms it.Accessibility
AI
What the AI may do.
- Does Warpbeam use AI?
- The AI is meant to explain, recommend and act, but only as far as you allow for each task. Today, Warpbeam does not contain any AI function yet.AI with guardrails
- Does my data go to an AI provider?
- Only if you want it to. The language model is meant to run inside Warpbeam itself, with no connection to the internet. If you connect a model of your own instead, only redacted data is meant to go there too. Your data is not to be used to train any model.AI with guardrails
- Can I switch the AI off?
- Yes. At level 0 it is off, and Warpbeam works fully without it.AI with guardrails
